To download a file from the Legion site:Go to the home page and direct your attention to the left side of the page. Click "Downloads". Find the file you wish to download and click to begin downloading it to your hard drive. The file may be in an archived format, such as zip (this is to reduce the size of the file). To extract it and use it you will require a free program such as
AlZip (click the name for the correct download location). Extract the file. The file should now be available to use.
To upload a file to the Legion site:First, you must put the file in a format the site accepts for uploading.
File formats which are allowed are: zip, rar, doc, jpg, gif, png.
Zip and rar formats are archive formats which reduce the size of files. Basically, anything which is not a text document or an image file will have to be archived before it can be uploaded. I recommend using the zip format. The software required is linked to in the "To download a file from the Legion site" section above.
Once your file is in an acceptable format look at the Legion home page. On the left hand side, in the box marked "User" you should see the option "Upload a file". Click this option. You can now give the file a title, which will be shown on the site, and choose the category it goes in, which will make it easier for others to find it. This should be all that you really need. Now click "Choose file" and find the file on your hard drive. Then click "Save" to upload the file. It should now be available to other users of the site to download.
Please use this facility carefully, and remember that every file uploaded takes up webspace used by the site.
